Thread: Temple Map Variations

    Default Temple Map Variations

This is a series of variations on the basic "Ancient Temple" map found on D&D's map-a-week section.

Cropped down to a more usable size, the original map was the basis of my variations.

I shortened in the side walls to remove the extra rooms to make this something like an average, small town/large village temple. I then flipped the central altar dais to face the front doors and spread the pews in front and back.

I added some numbers so that people could use it for their own campaign. Just add a key of your own and go with it.

Another variation on this idea pushes the altar to the back of the temple and puts all of the pews in front. This seems a bit more sensible so that the congregation can all see the priest doing their thing up on the dais.

And one with numbers for quick insertion to a campaign.

And here's a closer-cropped version in black and white to make it easier to print.

    Hope this helps some folks.

...and because I couldn't stop fiddling with the design - here some additional versions with more rooms.

I suppose that you could look at this as the evolution of the temple over time where a priest adds additional rooms as resources become available or something.

This might be something found in a city rather than a small town.

    Good luck.
