    Thanks CP. Me too!

While this was a lot of work, working out different things and such, it was also fun and frustrating in equal measure when stuff didn't quite work out. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process though and hopefully I'll get further commissions from the client.

I must say, at the hourly rate I'm currently working at, I've no immediate plans to give up my day job

Haha, well, so long as you're having fun and getting paid - even a little - for it, it's all good!

I know some of you have had some horror stories with commission work; difficult clients and so forth but my client, The Design Mechanism on this project was absolutely brilliant. Any questions or concerns I had, some of which were probably very inane, were answered promptly and professionally. Payment was made promptly (within 24 hours of me sending an invoice). All-in-all a great first commission to cut my teeth on. I'd happily work for them anytime. They are without question a very professional outfit.

Following on from the above; I've created a template (see attached that shows layers etc at the moment) that as I proceed I will update the "notes" layer with my processes, to hopefully speed up the work. I've already created basic objects in Ai for the DM, Dressing & Doors groups and I've also created a brush set.

I should be somewhat more prepared for the next one...
