Ah I completely agree and if you throw Io into the mix then it becomes even more complex (Ice worlds do seem more uniform so maybe they can be excluded), and I am sure there must be some really interesting and exotic land formations in the universe. but for now, im going with an early Archean geology with a venus twist. And im afraid I have way to account for an orbit around a gas giant, it may turn out continents do not form and you just get Io like geologies (a planet with an ocean and lots of little island volcanoes?!).

What i can see, i like. Is there a chance you have a much better resolution? The elements of your work are too tiny still in this resolution so i can't really comment on them (for example the mountains).
I do like the overall vibe i get, though. I am not sure if i asked this already, but is there information on this world of yours somewhere? Setting background and history, what kind of world is this? etc etc . I am always curious about this stuff. It makes the maps come alive for me.

I really like the shape of the landmass, especially all those little inlets, lakes and such. Love that sort of thing Love the heraldry you feature on that map too, would be great if it were a higher resolution to see them in their full glory
