Wip 33 - Moonwheel Zoo and Museum of Oddities

    Greetings Guild City,

On behalf of the Moonwheel Trading Company (月亮輪)*, I would like to thank the August Grandmaster of Guild City and all Guild City members for granting us permission to re-develop the slums and ghettos of district 33 into the a world renowned zoo and museum of oddities.

Our Moonwheel junk ships and treasure fleets sailed the globe for decades collecting numerous rare and exotic animals and oddities from all over the world. We surveyed many cities and concluded that Guild City is the ideal location for our rare zoo and museum. We look forward to showcasing the impressive collections we have amassed over the last few decades.

As a gesture of our good will we have already offered many of the evicted former residents of district 33 well paid manual labor to assist in the construction of the zoo and museum complex. While we cannot reveal full redevelopment plans at this time, the August Grandmaster has allowed us to show this rough sketch of our planned redevelopment.

We look forward to meeting all district bosses in the future.

    Thank you,

Zhi Xu, Zoo Director, Moonwheel Trading Company

Here is a little update. I was playing around a lot to see how I wanted to do this map. I was trying to do some houses to match the CSUAC style I used here but didn't get it right yet.

Howdy neighbour. Welcome to the neighbourhood.

If you're collecting animals and oddities, I may have a couple of oddities in the Jangles that I can send your way. Just remember to feed them. They get...weird...if they aren't fed properly.

    Hi HoarseWhisperer.

We greatly welcome any unique oddities you may have for us to display. Our curator should be onsite in a week or so. In return we can send you our current surplus of human capital that proved to be ineffective at construction or dealing with our unique collection of animals.

We are currently submitting this recent stage of construction to mark progress as the Zoo Director has ordered a re-design of our ambitious 100-ft tall tree forest canopy exhibit featuring the rare Golden Siamang.

Thank you for your hospitality in guild city,

    Quartermaster Bhugal,
    Moonwheel Trading Company

I see you must be employing various powerful magics to grow all those 100 foot trees so quickly

Nice looking map - and what would a city be without a zoo?

Looking forward to seeing the next update

oh no need to use what you call magic to grow. We simply use advanced bonsai techniques applied for hundreds of years to our sacred trees. We transported some of our smaller specimens to the zoo via our treasure fleets and then using giant chariot platforms similar to Mongolian chariot palaces. Here is a loose sketch of how we transport (excuse my poor drawing skills)

My goodness! Construction on an epic scale!

As long as a sketch manages to convey the information, its good
