    Default The Coast Lines (again)

    Hi Guys.

This has probably been asked and explained a million times before. Sorry for that, however, I can't seem to find a tutorial.
How do I make these two types of "water lines" along the coast lines using Photoshop?
Can someone, please, help either by explaining how to or guide me to a tutorial?

    TIA.

In short, select the water layer, do a stroke on a new layer, decrease the size of your selection, and repeat as many times as you like. For the other effect I'd make a layer underneath a solid landmass color block or mask and then select the landmass, on the new layer make it into a path based on the selection, and then stroke that path with a brush that has the hatching effect.
