May 2016 Challenge: The Kantic Peninsula

Thought I'd get in on this at the last minute since my holiday plans fell through.

This is a post-apocalypse/steampunk mash-up where city-states trade with each other and countries outside the peninsula. The main focus here is on the peninsula, but I'll include a couple of routes that go 'off the map' too. This is the base map; next up is cities and labels, then the routes, trade goods, waypoints, and assorted dangers.

Okay, here's the next stage completed. All major rivers, cities, and text in place. Now on to the symbols denoting rebel and mutant (of course) activity, then the trade routes. I might take a page from Francissimo's book and make little boxes for my trade icons; that was such a cool idea!
